Philosophy
I developed chronic illness after the death of my first child, a strong signal to my body that I needed to slow down and listen, to follow the guidance of my body; anything less than this resulted in more fatigue. It is how I first discovered both energy healing and somatic work. So my first training has been my lived experience of navigating long term chronic illness, something you never get a certificate for!
Along the way I have learned that I am AuDHD and highly sensitive. I have navigated a deep journey with gender, finally embracing womanhood after living many years as non-binary and agender. I have trained in various modalities. I am on a continual journey of understanding what is trauma and what is neurodivergence within myself as I unravel and rebuild.
And so it is also how I support others with their healing and growth. Listening to the body, discovering what it is ready to have witnessed, perhaps for further and deeper understanding, or perhaps to be released. Utilising a variety of modalities as we collaborate on how your body might best feel heard and understood.
