Philosophy
Sexological Bodywork changed my life for the better and I believe this can be your story too.
It starts with creating open lines of communication between us and our bodies, finding the language our body resonates with, and fine tuning our skills to ask the right questions and hear the responses.
This task alone can be fraught with trauma, protection, and dissociation when attempted on our own. But within the safety of a container and a trauma informed guide, my hope is you will unlock the secrets of the body, your unique wisdom, and the ability to heal from a vantage of 'your body knows best.'
As someone with chronic illness and pain, developing this self trust was pivotal in tuning into my capacity and the right decisions for me and my body- relationally, in intimacy, and in day to day functioning. I do not say this lightly or make this claim carelessly. I did not know pleasure in my body and my existence until I tried Sexological Bodywork. So if you feel your fate is already sealed, you may want to see what else is possible!
I have a unique capacity to be with bodies and experiences where little hope has been offered to you. If you have been through bouts of trying the next spiritual or medical intervention and then have fallen into bouts of defeat, this may be a modality that finally meets you in the unique situation and body you inhabit.
We emphasize finding our resilient edge of authenticity, vulnerability and growth.
From this space, we may find a bravery to say yes to more pleasure and ease, and then there are hundreds of tools and practices we can explore to make that a part of your reality!
